Short Bio:
Felicia T Perez is a storyteller and narrative strategist working at the intersection of culture, justice, and systems change. She serves as Deputy Director of the Moving Forward Network (MFN), a national network advancing environmental justice and a zero-emissions freight system, where she helps lead organizational strategy, communications, and network-wide alignment. As part of her work at MFN, Felicia is the Executive Producer of The Lines We Live On, a docuseries that explores the impacts of the freight transportation system and uplifts the frontline and fenceline organizers working to transform it. In addition to her role at MFN, Felicia contributes to independent storytelling projects, including producing Reimagining Philanthropy with Landry Films. Their career spans roles such as Head of Memes at TaskForce, Innovation Director at the Center for Story-based Strategy, Communications Director for GetEqual, Communication Strategist for United Workers Congress, and work with the ACLU of Southern California and Californians for Justice, as well as serving as a Lecturer in Gender, Race, and Identity at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is also the creator of storytelling tools and curricula including Game Changer: The Game of Activist Tactics, Picture This, and History’s Mysteries: Solve the Crime of the Time, reflecting her commitment to making strategy accessible, participatory, and actionable.
